Lucia Sarto was born in the province of Udine in 1950. Her artistic formation is made between Venezia and Torino, cities where she participates with success in her first important group exhibitions. She has exhibited in over one hundred exhibitions, of which fifty personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
1981: personal exhibition at “La Cave” Gallery, Treviso.
1983: solo exhibitions at the picture gallery of the Civic Museum of Lucera, at Kick Gallery in Eschweiler, Castle Mews Gallery of London and at the Internationale Kunst Messe in Basil.
She permanently exhibits her art at Otto Galleries of Wien since 1984.
1986/1987: she participates in Art Fairs in Paris and Los Angeles.
Since 1986 she has exhibited at all the editions of Poggibonsi Arte, an important exhibition planned and promoted by Tommaso Giotti.
1993: solo exhibition at Palazzo Affari in Florence.
Since 1993 her art is permanently exhibited at San Giorgio Gallery in Portofino, since 1995 at Decò Art Gallery in Lignano Sabbiadoro and since 2004 at Melori & Rosenberg Gallery in Venice.
From 1998 to 2005 she participates in New York Art Expo.
In May, 2005 she participates at “Venice – Views on Ghetto”, an exhibition by Melori & Rosenberg, opened on the occasion of the Republic Festivity, then hosted at the Italian Museum of Jewish Art of Jerusalem and at the Italian Culture Institute of Haifa and Tel Aviv.
In September, 2005 on the occasion of the VII European Day of Jewish Culture at the Historic Hall “Leon da Modena”, Melori & Rosenberg opens her personal exhibition “La Poesia dell’Attimo” (The Poetics of the Moment).
Since February, 2007 she permanently exhibits at the Thornwood Gallery, Houston (Texas). 2007: “One woman exhibition” at Boca Raton (Florida) at Addison Gallery.
Since June 2007 her originals are permanently exhibited at Behr-Thyssen, Manhattan NY.
2008: personal show at Thornwood Gallery.
2008: “I giardini dell’anima”, a solo exhibition at A&D Art Gallery in Como, Italy.
2009: A&D Art Gallery in Como organizes a solo exhibition, “Percorsi”, promoted by AMACI and the Townhall of Como.
2010: In Venice she participates in the group exhibitions ”Nello spazio della Croce” (“In the Space of the Cross”) organized by Melori & Rosenberg in co-operation with San Salvador Church.
2010: personal show “Interior Colors” at Melori & Rosenberg Gallery curets by Arch. Veronica Balutto.
2011: “Appunti di viaggio” (“Travel notes”), personal exhibition at Cornoldi Palace in Venice.
2012: group exhibition in Praga, Galerie Brehova
2013: Thornwood Gallery presents a series of new jewels by Lucia matching her paintings.
2013: Personal exhibition in Cividale del Friuli at the historic Banca Popolare curated by Veronica Balutto.
2014: Opening of her new atelier at Lignano Sabbiadoro.
2014: Solo exhibition at Rettori Tribbio Gallery in Trieste, curated by Architect Marianna Accerboni.
2015: she takes part in the group exhibition “As time goes by” conceived by Donatella Bedello and curated by Francesca Mezzatesta at Melori & Rosenberg Gallery in Venice.
Since 2015 she has participated in numerous events and art exhibitions under the artistic direction of Dr. Francesca Mezzatesta, historian and critic of Art and Entertainment.
