Biography
Paola Zago was born in Dolo(Venice) where she lives and works.
After her diploma as Designer in Padova she left her profession for several years.
During a really difficult moment of her life, with help of some friends, she decided to attend a “disable persons centre” as a volunteer.
Working at the ceramic laboratory her artistic passion was awaken. Deciding to not longer suffocate her creativity, she enrolled in the Modigliani artistic high school, Padova. Through this she was able to participate in a Raku pottery course at the Corte della Miniera, Urbino.
This technique that uses fire and permits a total immersion with nature enchanted her so much that she decided to dedicate all her time and energy to the technical knowledge of this art.
She finally found in the RAKU(joy of living) her natural expression, privileged way of her interiority.
…Drowned in spirit…the great work of growing…”flying” through life finding ourselves remaining faithful to the belief that animates the actual moment …then returning to the depth of being woman…
